Packing...

For me, today marks the first day of summer because I get to pack for Summer CAMP!

This has for the past couple of years been my favorite trip...not because of the accomodations, location, speaker, or band. Nope, I look forward to getting away from all the "comforts" (or distractions) of life (no cell phone, computer, TV, movies, etc), and instead it is uninterrupted time with the Lord and an incredible group of Middle and High School students.

Please pray for these almost 200 students - that hearts will be transformed and lives will be given over to the glory and honor of the Lord.

Back In First

My team is back in first after tonight's game...which makes things slightly tense around the McKay home...I also have a new bird feeder in the yard filled with seed for Cardinals. So we now get to enjoy these bright red beauties every morning...to the chagrin of this guy:

Clever Church Signs

Whenever Will and I head out on a road trip, one of our "car games" we play is finding corny church signs. We have found some pretty cheesy ones in the past such as, "If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it." There are even books that have been published devoted entirely to these.

Summer-time Fav

Izzy. 70% juice, interesting flavors, no caffeine, no refined sugars, no artificial colors or flavors, and the company partners with Global Education Fund to provide education and resources to needy children all over the world. Definitely my go-to refreshment this summer.

One of the things I love most about my job is the people God allows me to serve with. These are incredible women that follow the Lord whole-heartedly, and I am so blessed to know them!

Sunflowers!

A sweet friend asked me to paint a sunflower for her home, and I finally finished! (She asked me in January...it's been a busy couple of months!) It's acrylics on a 16x20 canvas. Thanks so much for asking me to do this - I had a great time during the process, and I hope you enjoy the end result!

May is such a fun month at the McKay household with celebrating graduations, parties, Senior Girls' Tea, and more weddings!
